Pre-Holiday Photos

Attempt 3 on the family christmas photo.

We went to visit Santa and meet a reindeer too. Mitchell was not crazy about the white breaded stranger so no pics to follow.

Uncle Wayne comes for a visit. It was great to see him and as you can tell the kids had missed him terribly

Mitchell admires the snowglobe as it plays Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.

Mitchell shows off his new winter hat.

Happy Holidays

Oh the wonderful holidays. Jason and I where planning on taking the family away to celebrate the holidays like we did two years ago, however things did not work out. With an economy that takes a dive everyday, we are getting back to the basics. We can be thankful for a warm house, food on the table and our health. Truly giving thanks and being together is all that should matter. Enjoy the photos that I've posted more to come after Christmas. We plan on having the Wiggins Christmas on the 20th then Christmas Eve at the Starks house. Ending the festivities by having nice quiet Christmas Day at our home. Happy Holidays to all and Peace for the new year. Godspeed January 20th and the changes that lie ahead.

Thanksgiving

This was to be Mitchell's first Thanksgiving holiday. However we had a tragic family accident that enable us from having the traditional family gather. Nonetheless, we all gathered some in shifts to enjoy a turkey and the works at the Wiggins home. We do have a lot to be thankful for this season. First and most importantly, the lives that where spared in the accident that took place the day before thanksgiving. And of course our health and happiness. Our 10 year old niece has many long days of recovery ahead of her but she is keeping her spirits up. All of our thougthts and prayers go out to her and her two sisters and the rest of the family. Happy Thanksgiving to all and the best throughout this holiday season.

Devon the Human Jungle Gym

As one might notice, Devon has transformed into one of the coolest new toys out for children under the age of 7. There are ads running throughout the holiday season for a reasonable fee you can rent a Devon the Human Jungle Gym. The proceeds will go towards Devon's books for this spring semester.

Election Day

November 4th was a landmark day in our nation's history. So the Wiggins Family headed to the election polls at 5:30ish that morning, to cast our votes. This was Devon's first time voting and we where all excited for this day. I don't think that any of us will forget November 4th, 2008 for sometime. Mom baked cinnamon rolls, Dad brought coffee and the kids had milk to fill the tummies for the long line we where about to wait in. Our quote for our family during this election year was "Changing the world one family at a time". And that we did. God be with our new president elect and his family. And GO OBAMA!!!!!

Halloween 08'

Here's a couple of pics with the kids and Jay. We had great weather and a fun night for Mitchell's first halloween. For those of you who don't know, the kids where Padme and Yoda from Star Wars the Clone Wars. And Jay is Capt. JackAss!!

Saturday Mornings

This is a typical Saturday morning in the Wiggins house no matter what time it is!

Last night, we had open house at Rylee's school. She has a very exciting year ahead of her. Her teacher stated that the class is adjusting to 1st grade well. I'm looking forward to posting more info about Rylee and how she's doing with 1st grade.

Little Drummer Boy

This morning Mitchell is enjoying Rylee's bongos as Bob Marley plays in the background. Do we see a future dread head here?

It's all the rage! Wearing your food is the new fashion statement of the fall season. Everyone in our house is doing. How about yours!

Rylee's 1st day of school

Yesterday Aug. 25 was Rylee's first day of 1st grade. It was a BIG day as she entered a new chapter in her life. She is very excited about starting school and making new friends. Way to go Rylee!!! Mommy and Daddy couldn't be more proud.
